| Day 1 : Munster - Petit Ballon Starting from the city that gave its name to the famous cheese, the track joins after about ten kilometers, the summit of the Petit Ballon (Klein Belchen, 1272m). This has a true panoramic view overlooking the Valley of Munster and the highest points of the mountain range the “Massif des Vosges” and the plain of Alsace. Distance 16km - Heigh difference +1150m Day 2 : Petit Ballon - Grand Ballon Passing by the Markstein, you will then reach the Grand Ballon (Großer Belcher, 1424m), the highest point of the “Massif des Vosges”. Distance 20km - Heigh difference +12000m Day 3: Grand Ballon - Thann A long but pleasant descent will take you into the Valley of the Thur and the town of Thann. Distance 18km - Heigh difference +450m Day 4: Thann - Col des Perches
A climb up to the "Rossberg" and its magnificent views, before arriving to the "Hautes Chaumes" and their farms Inn. From there, the route runs along the ridge to reach the "Col des Perches".Distance 19km - Heigh difference +1170m Day 5 : Col des Perches - Ballon d'Alsace The balcony path of the "Lac des Perches" offers a magnificent view of the Jura mountains. The descent of the thatch of "Haute Bers" leads to the lakes of "Petit" and "Grand Neuweiher", then to lake "Alfeld", by a route still uncrowded and wild. Distance 11km - Heigh difference +930m Day 6 : Ballon d'Alsace - Le Grammont
After a passage through the "Ballon de Servance", descent to the Copper Mynes of "Le Thillot" before reaching the "Col de Croix" and the area around "Les Mille étangs" (The thousand ponds) Distance 19km - Heigh difference +710m Day 7: Le Grammont - Girmont Val d'Ajol Passing by the heights of the Moselle valley and by the road of the Forts, the route allows you to enjoy the well-being in the forest and mountain agricultural landscapes. Distance 22km - Heigh difference +1010m Day 8: Girmont Val d'Ajol - Remiremont The small detour through the southern Vosges imposes a passage through the waterfall Géhard, the cottage of the Emperor, Hérival, the pass of the Guards,... the stay will end in the footsteps of Saint Romaric.
